Where can I find all the information I need about the new branding?

Click here for branding guidelines, please read them if you want to use the branding yourself.

When should I start using the new Alpha logo?

We would like people to start using the new logo as soon as possible! This will help maximize the impact of the new branding as it is used around the world.

Do we still keep using the old Alpha logo?

No, we have said goodbye to the Alpha man, he has been replaced with the red Alpha question mark.

But the Alpha man is still on my banner and other resources?

Don’t worry, we will more than likely see the Alpha man for a short time. We understand it would cost a lot of money for local teams to replace him everywhere at once.

How do we change to the new logo?

A good start is to make a list of everywhere you currently use the old Alpha logo, for instance on your website, publicity posters, or on your Facebook page. Then, in each place, change it to the new Alpha logo as soon as you can.

Do I use a specific question mark?

No, that’s the beauty of the new Alpha branding. It’s designed so the question mark is always changing. The font of the question mark should always be different each time you use it. Refer to the ‘usage guidelines’ for advice.

So, I can use different question marks?

Yes. In fact, always try to use different question marks across your communication. For example, you should use a different question mark on your Facebook page compared to your Alpha invite. The Alpha font in the red dot always remains the same though – make sure you use 'ITC Avant Garde Bold'.

Can I use other colors for the logo (like blue or purple)?

No, you should always use a color from the warm red color spectrum with the new Alpha logo. The red coloring of the question mark is our link to the old Alpha logo, it’s good to keep this so people recognize we’re still Alpha.

When will all the Alpha products have the new Alpha logo?

Our products are currently in the design studio and will be available to purchase soon. Keep an eye on and check with your local office for updated resources.

If I buy my resources (e.g. DVD, Team Guide) in bulk now, will they be out of date in six months?

It is possible, as we are working on updating all Alpha resources. We recommend ordering just enough for what you need in the short term, then ordering more when the new design is ready. Please contact us at with any questions.

Can I make my own publicity?

Yes. Be sure to follow the usage guidelines. Using the new logo in a big and bold format overlaid on photographs of people looks great. Use the hashtag #TryAlpha or #RunAlpha to share your creation or email yours to your local office.

How do we take our own photos?

Photography guidelines are available from Alpha. Download them here or contact us.

How can I find out more about the new Alpha brand?

Sample logos and more detailed information about the new brand are available to download from Run, log in or sign up and then search for them.

My question isn’t here. Can I add my question because I think others will be asking it too?

We’d love your help to make this information more useful. Please send us your question so it can be added to our FAQs.

The Alpha App is not working for me. What's wrong?
